Retire the PBX in the closet.
Voice, video, messaging and contact centre on one platform — and your existing numbers come with you.
Desk phones tied to a box in a closet are a liability the moment anyone works from home. Unified communications puts voice, video, chat and SMS on one cloud platform that follows your team to whatever device they're holding.
We handle the part everyone underestimates: porting your existing numbers without dropping a call, and getting E911 addresses registered correctly for every remote worker.
Platforms we actually recommend
Chosen by customer satisfaction, not commission.
We partner with Telarus, AppDirect and Avant, which gives us access to dozens of UCaaS providers. We still point most Iowa small and mid-sized businesses at this short list — because independent customer-satisfaction data, not marketing claims or market share, keeps ranking them highest on the things that actually matter: support that answers, reliability you don't think about, and a system that's easy to live with. We don't sell the platform. We help you pick the right one and stay accountable after it's live.
| Stronger area | Best for | ||
|---|---|---|---|
| 4.6 | Support quality & ease of use | SMB and mid-market teams that want responsive human support and a system that's easy to live with day to day. | |
Consistently the highest-scored platform for support and ease of use in this shortlist. User-review sites rate it near the top of the category, and Metrigy's 2026 study singled it out for the measurable business results its customers report. HIPAA, SOC 2 and PCI-DSS coverage make it a fit for regulated offices. Where the score comes from

| 4.5 | Reliability & straightforward deployment | Businesses that want dependable dial-tone, a financially-backed uptime SLA and support that answers — without enterprise complexity. | |
Rated highly for reliability and support, with a financially-backed 99.999% uptime SLA and J.D. Power-certified support. Reviewers repeatedly call out that it just works and that help is quick when it's needed. Named a Metrigy 2026 Top Provider for UCaaS. Where the score comes from
| |||
| 4.5 | User experience, video & simple adoption | Teams that already live in Zoom meetings and want calling on the same platform with almost no learning curve. | |
A 2025 Gartner Peer Insights Customers' Choice for UCaaS, with one of the largest verified review bases in the category and consistently high marks for ease of use and video. Familiarity is the draw: staff who already use Zoom adopt Zoom Phone with little training. Named a Metrigy 2026 Top Provider. Where the score comes from
| |||
| 4.4 | Feature depth, integrations & enterprise telephony | Feature-hungry and larger teams that want deep telephony, analytics and a very large integration library in one platform. | |
The deepest feature set and integration library in the shortlist, and Metrigy's highest overall customer-sentiment score in its 2025 UCaaS study. Product feedback is strong; on the self-serve consumer side, support and contract experience draw more mixed reviews, which is why the blended score sits a touch below the leaders. Named a Metrigy 2026 Top Provider. Where the score comes from
| |||
| 4.5 | Security, reliability & regulated environments | Enterprise and regulated organisations that put security, compliance and proven reliability first. | |
The enterprise-trust choice: a 2025 Gartner Peer Insights Customers' Choice for UCaaS — Cisco was the only collaboration vendor recognised across three markets — and it tops Metrigy's 2026 UCaaS MetriRank. Feedback centres on security, call quality and reliability, which is why it's our default for regulated and larger organisations. Where the score comes from
| |||
| 4.2 | Integrated UCaaS + CCaaS & global coverage | Multi-country teams that need one contract covering both the phone system and the contact centre, with strong international calling. | |
The value and global-coverage option: UCaaS and contact centre under one contract and SLA, with carrier-grade international calling that changes the maths for multi-country teams. User-review scores sit a little below the leaders, but it earned Metrigy 2026 Top Provider recognition and is a strong fit where global reach is the priority. Where the score comes from

How we score. The Aggregate is DelaxCom's blended editorial view across Gartner Peer Insights, Forbes Advisor, G2, Capterra, TrustRadius/Trustpilot and Metrigy customer-sentiment data, plus general satisfaction signals — support quality, reliability, ease of use and willingness to recommend. It is a rounded, conservative read, not a precise average, because those sources use different scales and populations. Expand any platform to see the underlying sources and dates. Common questions
How do we choose between the platforms you recommend?
Start from what matters most to you. If it's support and ease of use, Nextiva scores highest with our clients. If it's rock-solid reliability, Intermedia Unite. If your team already lives in Zoom, Zoom Phone. Feature depth and integrations point to RingCentral; security and regulated environments to Cisco Webex; global reach with a built-in contact centre to 8x8. The comparison table above lets you filter by your situation — and we'll confirm the fit on a call before you commit to anything.
Do we keep our phone numbers?
Yes. Porting is included and coordinated by us. Numbers stay live throughout; there is no window where customers cannot reach you.
Do we need new handsets?
Usually not immediately. Many existing SIP handsets can be reprovisioned. Where they cannot, we will tell you before you commit, not after.
What about 911?
E911 location registration is part of the build. It is a legal requirement and a common gap in cheap cloud phone deployments.
